This role is eligible for the DfE Levelling Up Premium Payments, of up to £6,000 for FE teachers, for those meeting the criteria. This involves the government paying successful candidates from an industry background to get into teaching. Leeds College of Building will fund successful candidates to become a qualified FE teacher.

Hours: 37 per week, term-time only (40 weeks)
At Leeds College of Building we are committed to creating an inclusive learning environment and meeting students’ needs.
As an Inclusive Learning Advisor you will play a critical role in assessing the needs of our students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and ensuring that reasonable adjustments are made. In addition, you will have a role in advising and supporting our teaching staff in using inclusive teaching, learning and assessment practices to meet the needs of our students.
You will be a great communicator, creative problem solver, and have an in-depth understanding of SEND and reasonable adjustments. You will have the confidence to deliver training to groups of teaching staff and time management skills to manage your own caseload.
Experience of the FE sector will be an advantage, as will experience of supporting disabled people in an educational setting.
